Record Grade: M- (no scratches!) .... Cover Grade: VG (has promotional copy sticker on back... bottom has water damage that is worse on the front and back. Feel free to email for pictures!)
Grading:
NM or M-: The highest value assigned to an opened album. The vinyl is bright and shiny- basically flawless. A minor paper scuff may be permitted but no scratches.
VG++: Album plays perfectly. There might possibly be a hairline scratch or two that do not affect play. Vinyl is still glossy.
VG+: Has a few light scratches/scuffs that do not skip and cause minimal surface noise. Vinyl still has a nice shine.
VG: Record has noticeable wear/scratches. The LP still will not skip but will have surface noise. Vinyl might appear somewhat dull.
G: A well loved record with a good bit of scratches and noise. Only a VERY rare album will be listed in this condition.
Cover Grades:NM or M-: Perfect. No ring wear, seam splits, corner dings, or tears. Beautiful.
VG++: Minimal edge wear. Still no seam splits, tears, ring wear, or corner dings. Just shy of being NM.
VG+: Cover is still clean but might have the beginnings of ring wear or minor edge wear. Possibly a tiny seam split. Corners might have been bumped around.
VG: Album cover has edge/ ring ring wear. Art work is still visible and nice. Any seam splits will be mentioned after this grading.
G: Shows significant amount of wear. Rarely will we list an album cover in this shape. If we do it will be described in detail.
