I have been a music fan and vinyl enthusiast since the early 1970s and I am selling a large range of records featuring a very wide variety of musical styles. They are all authentic original pressings, featuring quality music mostly from the 1970s and 1980s.
They have all been very well cared for, though I will give an honest appraisal of their condition and will put up plenty of photos of the actual items for sale so you can see exactly what you are bidding on. I always endeavour to highlight anything which I think that I would like to be made aware of before deciding to place a bid, so I do tend to grade critically.
All these records are deep cleaned using a professionally constructed wet vacuum system using only the highest purity record cleaning fluid so the vinyl is all very clean, glossy and dust free. Everything listed is, at the very least, very thoroughly test played, (minimum of at least 4-5 tracks across both sides) though almost always played right through on a quality deck and I apply high standards to my vinyl and would never list a record that I would not be perfectly happy to have in my own cherished record collection. In the case of rare or particularly interesting vinyls, I may list records which may fall short in some way of my usual standards, but this would always be very clearly highlighted in the descriptions.
I visually inspect every record under very bright light using an inspection lamp.
A note regarding the most important matter of all - the audio - as with all vinyl, even straight out of the cellophane, there can be light crackle or very light 'pops' during the quiet passages. I have listened carefully, at the very least in part, to all these records, so I will highlight in the descriptions any aspects of the audio playback which I consider to be outside the parameters of the very high standards I apply to my own listening. Please be assured that I would never sell 'fried breakfasts', only high quality records.

Janet Jackson - 'The Velvet Rope' - original 1997 vinyl album in excellent condition. The matrices read A-1-1-1 / B-1-1-1 / C-1-1-1 / D-1-1-1. 
The vinyl retains its superb original glossy lustre with only the very lightest of wispy superficial hairlines visible in bright light presumably just the inevitable result of the records being slid out of the heavy card inners on a very odd occasion during their 20 year life. I have been involved with vinyl records for over 40 years and I would say that judging from the condition of the vinyl, the 'resistance' one finds when sliding out the vinyl from the sleeve and zero evidence of any spindle wear whatsoever that these vinyls are unplayed. I have test played the records using a brand new Goldring stylus this evening and I believe this is the first time these records have been near a needle. 
PLEASE NOTE : I am leaving this record absolutely untouched so I have not cleaned these records other than a very gentle wipe with a new super soft microfibre cloth to remove a little dust.
The packaging for this record is exquisite. The glossy gatefold sleeve has a super stylish very lightly textured overprint and features a superb full colour photograph of the artist. The centrefold continues with the same textured overprint theme and features a host of thumbnail photographs. 
The glossy card heavy inner sleeves carry all the album's lyrics and are in immaculate condition. The records are now housed in brand new plain white poly lined inners for the safe keeping of the vinyls and to preserve the originals.
This record in a nutshell :  You'd have to go a long way to find as nicely a preserved copy of this highly sought after album as this one. Other than the absolutely lightest of wear to the sleeve, which runs to a few wispy little indented lines to the front which are almost impossible to see unless angling to the light whilst looking for them, and the very tiniest of wear, this record is in superb condition.
