Description
ARTIST: Janis Ian
TITLE: 1. Sad How the Blues 2. Bold Centurion 3. Have Mercy Love
LABEL: Frank Music Corp.
VINYL GRADING: 1. VG 2. VG++ 3. VG++
LABEL GRADING: all three MINT-
NOTES: Sad How the Blues and Have Mercy Love come with Xeroxed sheet music that originally came with these one song 45 rpm one-sided 10” demo discs. I believe Have Mercy Love is the only song of the three that was later released. Address on labels is 119 West 57th St. New York, NY 10019. Columbus 5-3600 on all three records. The labels are all M- with Janis Ian and the song titles HAND TYPED. All discs are play graded above. Song 1. has some pops no skips, it’s a quiet solo acoustic track. Song 2. sounds GREAT, acoustic with a quiet female backup singer and great warm loud fidelity. Discs 1 and 3 have some surface residue, hard to tell what it is. They all come in plain manila sleeves that have general wear. I have no idea when these were made, I got them in a collection of 1960’s/early 1970’s records.
