Description

An original 1st pressing of IGDOKBAM on the UK VBS label from 1969. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by 'West Brothers' in England. Also included is an original patent applied for generic white inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Much of the Lp is showing only light evidence of use - except for one feelable scratch straddling tracks 2&3 on side 1 [detail below]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with that significant deviation on side 1. Side 2 is a great rendition - just lovely clean audio and difficult to find fault. Side 1 is brought down by this mark. Effectively you will hear a good few ticks and a couple of pops in the second half of track 2, and then same again in the 1st half of track 3. It's a shame, because the Lp is a top-level rendition barring this mark. Weigh it up in the round - this is priced accordingly and reflects a great listen for the most part.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny clean front with only a couple of edge stress creases. The rear looks excellent too particularly given it is unlaminated - no issues at all. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Bit of light ageing. But no splits.
