Thank you for visiting my auction for this exceptionally limited copy of Janis Joplin's 'Pearl' on blue vinyl.
Available only to lucky winners in a UNICEF raffle, this official release on the CBS label was limited to just 48 numbered copies and this copy is the very low numbered number 9 of the 48.
This item is brand new, sealed and has never been played. Unfortunately, UNICEF's fulfilment partner did not package the LP's in appropriate packaging for an item of this exceptional rarity, and this copy (along with others that I am aware of) sustained a little damage to the sleeve in transit to the winners. This was the result of a less than adequate mailer and no stiffeners. This damage is clearly photographed in the photo's so please take a moment to study them carefully to ensure that you are happy to purchase an item that could not be described as 'mint'. Specifically, the damage takes the form of a crease which is mainly visible on the front bottom right corner of the sleeve (the opening side of the sleeve). The crease is barely detectable on the reverse of the sleeve. The spine of the sleeve is perfect.
Please rest assured that to ensure that the item reaches the winning bidder in exactly the same condition as it leaves my possession, I will be packaging it well and I will definitely be using stiffeners within the quality mailer.
All of my items are from my own collection and are stored in a smoke and pet free home.
