Here is a sound sample of 9 minutes 19 seconds total of both sides opening tracks where any needle land damage or edge scratches would show up if they were there (none seen or as you can hear none heard) Inbetween the two opening tracks is the last track side two at 2 minutes 20 seconds into sound sample.  Side b track one starts at 5 minutes 10 seconds.  I put the last track side two between the others simply as ....ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITES!!!!

Audibly very  CLEAN, no sign of wear damage in FULL replay,    LP test played and sampled before washing it was that clean visually,

This LP has the same master stampers as the expensive and rare Columbia UK Columbia pressing stock No. 33CX 1700.

I sold two of these in july 2009, although they were on 7 day auction, both sold within 24 hours, as they both had BIN options on, at $49 and $59. and the feedback was positive and in agreement this was a great pressing in subsequent email conversations. NO BIN option this time, so auction will run its full course, see my feedback for buyers comments. This one is in similar condition than the last two. 

Janos Starker (Cello) and Gerald Moore (Piano) play  14 tracks by composers such as 

Bach, Saint Saens, Debussy, Kreisler, Chopin,Popper, Schubert, Schumann, Paganini and Tcherepnin (See photo of labels for title details)

Note for the audio engineers within each of you, this MONO recording probably done with a single microphone, my guess due to Cello volume, it was closest to the Cellist, during some louder cello playing the piano gets drowned out, and sounds 'distant', but it is a valuable collectable in original Columbia 33cx series for good reason. As a Cello player myself, It was totally enjoyable test playing this excellent compilation of piano and cello duets.

I thought someone  might like a reasonably priced analogue production (compared to 200GBP valuation for the original) and appreciate it for the sound, and not because its a valuable investment as the originals have become.

 If you already have an original Columbia pressing, Buy THIS  lp and You can play it instead of  wearing out your original 33cx 1700 investment !

My LP as advertised, Issued Originally by pre order only (they only pressed as many as were ordered), exclusively in australia through EMI  Mail order in Australia, (World Record Club) Australia,  THIS IS AN AUSTRALIAN PRESSING but made from stampers exactly the same as mono 33cx 1700 Blue and Gold Label.

These are probably rarer than the  originals, issued in a country at the time in the 60's with a total population of 12 million people, and only available by mail order (A lot of Aussies back then had to buy by mail, not many people lived near a record retailer back then. I lived on a farm 300 km from a record shop(Big Country)
