Description
This is a stereo LP featuring cellist Janos Starker playing Kodaly’s Sonata for Solo Cello and with Arnold Eidus playing Kodaly’s Duo for Violin and Cello. The record was made in the US and issued as a mono pressing on the Period label as SPL 510. It is in visually in strong VG+ condition but I’ve played it and noticed a fair amount of vinyl noise, so not for the audiophile, but for someone that would appreciate the performances. I’ve cleaned the record with the Disc Doctor’s Miracle Record Cleaner so the vinyl may improve after a few plays. This came from the estate of a professional cellist. This record, despite the background noise, is still very listenable - please view my other auctions for more vinyl from the same collection, I combine to save on shipping…..
