Description
This 1981 stereo LP from Star Records (X04) features two works by Franz Schubert: Arpeggione Sonata in A Minor and Sonatina in D Major. Both are performed by cellist Janos Starker, accompanied on piano by Shuku Iwasaki (for the Arpeggione Sonata) and by Shigeo Neriki (for the Sonatina).
Album notes are in English by Janos Starker.
Outer sleeve, inner sleeve and record are all in excellent condition. There is a light needle bounce scratch visible on Side 2 as two short segments in band 1, the second extending slightly into band 2, but we have played this disc in full through both sides on a Thorens TD 126 Mk III turntable, and heard only an occasional faint background pop in that area.
This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of classical LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear.
