Release Details: EMI Columbia S-CHK 1076 Singapore release from 1971

 

Descritpion: Astonishing 2 sider from the October Cherries Singer Jay . Side one is a vocal number full of strings in a sorta Keith West modelled way...intro of acoustic guitar leads into some minor chord melancholy...not unlike the Cherries but not as derivative as they were. Hard to see anyone buying this in '71 as its way too long and dramatic for radio. Side 2 is a killer long prog/psych keyboard workout...startling.
