SMASH RECORDS 1967 - s-2237 Plain Stock SMASH/Mercury Sleeve.
VINYL: VG+ (NM) - SLEEVE: VG+
Northern Soul stomper by Jay And The Techniques ?in standard Smash/Mercury Orange sleeve. Both sides appear and sound perfect, but I have ranked this as VG+ (see VINYL GRADINGS). You can also hear a sample of both sides to give you an idea of its condition. ABOUT THIS RECORD: This record was purchased from a Book Seller who dabbled in vinyl. He acquired a record collection from a guy who bought unsold stock from a warehouse, then sat on them. They appear to be from two periods from the mid 70's and early 80s. They were unplayed stock, and all appeared to be in Mint/NM condition in either stock or picture sleeves.VINYL GRADINGS: I grade all these as either VG+ or VG Minus. You may grade them a lot higher, but as one man's NM is another man's VG Minus, I'll grade these as VG for now. I don't need some long drawn out eBay buyer complaint about how a dog hair besmirched your virgin vinyl and that doesn't match the description. All records sold are default VG +/-, so if it's better then that, good for you.
