Description
Visually graded vinyl is VG+++ with only a couple of almost invisible hairlines.
Less conservative grading would be Near Mint.
Spot-checked sound is Near-Mint.
The vinyl is clean and quiet.
The labels are clean.
Both Runouts Have The “MASTERDISK” Stamp & “EDP” Stamp.
HW initials are included next to these dead-wax stamps, meaning Howie Weinberg cut the lacquer, and probably mastered the sound as well.
The front laminate is VG++ with the only flaw being some barely visible bin wear of a bit of the black lettering on the top, mainly the TITLE letters.
No notch-cut, NO corner-cut, NO drill hole, NO writing.
Lower right seam is split just a quarter inch from the right opening edge.
The corners are pretty solid. No other seam-splitting.
The only other tiny flaw is a short 1/8 inch tear in the center of the top of the rear laminate (rear slick).
The front and rear laminates have very little yellowing, which is amazing considering the age of this release.
Killer free-jazz / avant-garde musicians are woking with the late, great Ms. Cortez.
Grading is conservative, using the traditional "Goldmine" grading standard, with a very bright light and checking from many angles.
