Description

Titles: What Is This Thing / Out of Nowhere / Slow Burn

Disc grade, note: G, interesting 12 inch 78 rpm acetate of the Sy Oliver orchestra performing three numbers, acetate was part of a collection maintained by journeyman jazz pianist Billy Kyle, Kyle played w/ the Oliver Orchestrra after the war and it is likely his piano playing heard so prominently on these recordings, acetate is in visually rough but stable condition, hairline cracks in the lacquer cause some skips early in 'What is This Thing' but the majority of the disc plays through, refer to our sound clip to get an idea of how this disc plays, includes new generic white outer sleeve.

Thanks for your interest in our listing. We have been selling vinyl rarities online for more than a decade and strive to provide the highest standard of service.

All discs are cleaned professionally before sale and graded conservatively according to a strict visual scale using the following grade designations:

NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, and G.

For a more detailed description of this scale please refer to our grading page.

Unless otherwise noted, every record listed is an original issue for the label and catalog number given.

All our discs are housed in white paper inner sleeves. LPs are stored and shipped outside of their jackets to avoid seam splits. Both jackets and discs are kept in thick 4 mil poly outer sleeves to protect them from dust and dirt. We pack all our discs securely in sturdy cardboard mailers and protect them with an appropriate amount of fillers and padding to prevent damage during shipment.

Please refer to our shipping page for information concerning shipping rates.
