Rare early radio broadcast Transcription ca. 1929 12-inch, one sided 78rpm shellac pressing
Judson Transcription for Philco Program - Program 7 Part 4 Plays from inner most groove outward - Has "Start" area and arrow engraved in shellac, to show where to start the transcription. Announcer begins advertising Philco radios, giving examples that Philco does not have fade-in and fade-out in radio reception, illustrating examples as orchestra plays . . then announcer introduces "a new tune written by our trumpet player, Bob Effros, and it's called 'Tin Ear'" . . orchestra then plays "Tin Ear" (Effros made a commercial recording of this "new tune" in 1929, hence the date) Condition about V+ . . . has scratches and wear, but plays well.
