Charlie Christian Memorial VOX Spotlight Series album VSP 302. A 1940 rare recording of Charlie Christian live at Minton's Playhouse in Harlem . Thelonius Monk on Piano, Joe Guy, Nick Fenton and Ken Clark. Six sides three of Charlie's Choice (side 1,2 and 3) and three sides of Stompin' At The Savoy (side 4,5 and 6). Part of the album notes are titled "About Charlie, Minton's, And The Birth Of Be-Bop". There is evidence of previous enjoyment. Please see photos.
