Description
From 1957 on Transition trlp-10. Sticker on top back, and sticker indicating "Album Notes Inside", and a bit of writing on that sticker. Record conditon is VG, mostly due to scuffs from normal use, and the fact that the labels are coming off. Flat edge record. Labels are black with gold print. One label has come off, it is included. The other label is starting to come off, and has been creased from having been folded back while in the jacket for many years. (Please see the photos) The Cover is VG, as it has full seam splits on 2 of the 3 sides (one good seam), otherwise nice. The original booklet is included, it is in EX condition, with normal yellowing to the paper, flat, and tight stapled binding. Alot of Sun Ra in there! A rare one for sure!
You just get more with vintage vinyl LPs. You get the original artwork of the cover, and all the liner notes that we all enjoy poring over when we get a new record. It's not the same with CDs or downloaded music. Plus, there's that unmistakable organic quality to the sound that makes it human. Alot of modern music is click tracked, autotuned, and processed to digital perfection. Even modern re-issues often lack the dynamic range that the original LPs had. When you've got the original LP, you've got something special!
Grading is by visual inspection under a bright light. Following Goldmine guidelines.
