This record is a first pressing 1974 release SEALED LP copy of Eddie Russ “Fresh Out” from Jazz Masters Records.

Obviously the record cannot be graded while sealed, but the sleeve is in near mint condition. Slight discoloration to the white portion on back side of sleeve (yellowish splotches through shrink wrap as seen in photos)
Corners of sleeve slightly curled from what appears to be a tight original factory shrink wrap.
In my research of this album, I noticed Jazz Master Records released an alternate mix version of this record which happens to be even more rare than the original. I could only find useful information about this on discogs. The problem is, apparently the only way to confirm whether it’s an alternate mix version or not is by the matrix etching on the record itself. They’re believed to both have the exact sleeve so confirming this, as far as I know is impossible unless opened.
This record is part of a collection from someone who worked in the music industry, managing and booking bands during the 70s/early 80s in and around Detroit, MI. Getting ahold of rare versions of records was likely common in the profession. Also this record came out of Detroit. From what I’ve observed, a sealed copy of the normal first pressing seems to have around the same value as an opened alternate mix version. Not sure if that info helps but I figured I’d mention it.
That being said, it makes this record hard to price. In any event, it’s still a rare album as is, especially with the condition and being sealed but as a disclaimer I cannot confirm nor deny the rarity of this album. I can only confirm that it is a sealed copy of the first pressing.
