Description
Johnny Hodges Orchestra, In a Tender Mood, on Norgran 1059. Original deep groove mono pressing. A side is M- with only a couple of very faint paper scuffs. B side is VG+ with a few light marks, especially on the first track, that do not sound. Cover has a 10-inch seam split at top that was once taped. The tape remains, but has peeled off the split. A little light wear to front, general age yellowing and moderate wear to rear. Nice copy.
Note that I am currently selling a superb collection consisting heavily of mid-century jazz and vocalists. These records were kept in magnificent shape by their owner, so check my other auctions now and over the coming weeks.
GRADING
M- A flawless or nearly flawless record that appears to have seen little or no play.
VG++ Superb record, full gloss with a few superficial marks that do not sound.
VG+ Full gloss, light marks or scuffs, but an attractive record that has seen limited play and has been well cared for.
VG More marks and scratches, but still a decent record. Scratches may be fairly numerous, but will be light.
VG- Lots of marks and scratches but no gouges or major problems. Not a beautiful record, but still serviceable, not junk.
G+ and G Heavy wear and marks, plays through okay.
SHIPPING
Overseas Air Mail is $14 for the first record plus $4 for each additional record.
I pack LPs in professional mailers, with the disk in its paper sleeve outside the cover and both disk and cover housed in a three-mil plastic sleeve.
