Description
Lee Konitz on Prestige 7004. Original mono issue of this early Prestige LP has the W. 50th address on the label and Rudy Van Gelder's initials in the runout. Disk is superb M-, full shine, looks like it has seen almost no play. Has some spots on the vinyl consistent with a disk that spent years in an old "rice paper" sleeve of the sort that the early Prestige LPs were issued with. These are strictly superficial and make no sound. Front cover has light to moderate wear, rear cover similar with some yellowing along the edges. Fully split spine, bumped corners with a little paper missing at each. Gorgeous copy of a great and rare early Prestige piece.
I am currently selling an excellent batch of rare 50s and 60s jazz LPs, all in excellent shape, so check my other auctions.
