Description
Miles Davis, Birth of the Cool, on Capitol 762. Original mono issue with the green Capitol label. As shiny as the day it was pressed, it looks like this has seen very few plays. Side 1 is VG+, mostly pristine, but has one section with a series of very light scratches. For the most part these make no sound, though they are audible in the quietest passages of Moon Dreams. Side 2 is M- with just a couple of very light marks that do not sound. Front cover slick is nice VG+ with only very minor imperfections, no ring wear, writing, etc. Rear cover has light aging and wear. Aging to spine, one-inch split at top right, 1/2-inch split at bottom right. Overall, a very nice original copy of this classic.

GRADING
M- A flawless or nearly flawless record that appears to have seen little or no play.
VG+ Full gloss, some light marks. A very, very attractive record that has seen limited play and has been well cared for.
VG More marks and scratches, will have some surface noise, but still a playable record. Scratches may be fairly numerous, but will be light.
VG- Lots of marks and scratches but no gouges or major problems.
G+ and G Heavy wear and marks, plays through okay.
