Description
Prestige Records #7139 mono promo copy, the Red Garland Trio “Manteca”. With Paul Chambers, Arthur Taylor, and Ray Barretto. Jacket looks good, light wear to faces, name and promo stamp on back. Very sturdy, no splitting. RVG stamped vinyl has a few light lines but plays great, VG+.
See me 130 other auctions for classic jazz LPs. Don’t be put off by the low starting bids (90% of them start at $1.99). They are original, vintage (many are promos) 1950s thru early 1970s jazz. Gradings:
M : Mint ( I never say mint, bogue, stone fox or “holy grail”).
NM: Near Mint, Very clean, maybe 1 or 2 very light marks but sound is like new.
VG++: Very glossy, any scratches or marks will be very light and barely affecting play.
VG+: Still glossy, possibly some very light crackle, some fine lines, still plays well.
VG: Used record, some crackle, no loud pops or skips; plays ok. VG- : Some loud crackle, pops, a skip, probably not much gloss left
