Description

Blue Note 1508 entitled “A Night At Café Bohemia”. 767 Lexington Ave., NYC on both labels; same address at bottom of back cover. Deep groove. Features Art Blakey with Kenny Dorham, Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, and Doug Watkins. Record has “ear” and “RVG” inscribed in the dead wax. 5 tracks. This group defined hard bop. Cover: VG+ or better. Clean with light edge and corner wear. There is some aging and light soil from handling on front and back cover. Small residue from old sticker on back cover. Partial record ring on the back cover. 1/2 bottom edge split at insert edge. Record: VG+ or better. Visually shows very light wear. Played a number of times. There is some occasional crackling and some clicks. Most audible on Blakey’s announcements. Most of the record is free from surface noise and is close to mint(-). Heavy original vinyl pressing. Audibly checked.
