Jazz News and Review 28 March - 3 April 1963 Long John Baldy Rolling stones
Superb Jazz Magazine in incredible condition featuring a review on a long john baldry gig with photo. The Rolling stones are mentioned playing at ken Colyer’s Jazz club every Sunday afternoon. A few mentions for the Mann/Hugg Bluebrothers who later became Manfred mann.
This Magazine features multiple articles and references to the jazz greats. At this time Jazz Clubs were pretty much the only venues to play music at in london so as the new R&B bands started to come through Jazz News magazine kept a watchful eye on the progress and reported it in their magazine. In some of these magazines you can see history being made.
