ASTRAL DREAM RECORDS

We are a well established web records shop since 1995 specialised in original vinyl lps from sixties and seventies with special care for UK and worldwide progressive music. We  assure a professional and competent service with more than 35 years of experience in the record collecting market. Be confident on our service! Please come in our site clicking the above link, you're Welcome!

PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE,  A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL  IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH  NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.

The auctioned item it's rare and  a similar graded copy has been sold 4 times only in ebay in 2011 for these prices: 108 gbp, 69 gbp, 160 gbp, 33 gbp

graded VG+/VG++ for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system

label: The Yellow/Black label BLP 5989 it's in perfect conditions without any defect and no marks around the spindle hole, hence I grade it EX...this is the original press label, then he was repressed by Warner Bros.
cover: The matt  cover it's flipback and this is very strange for this year 1972 but sometime this happen for the privatelly pressed covers. It's in quite good condition especially on front and back where here's a minimal edge wear, some dirty traces on back, some minimal spine and seams wear but these are very firms and well squared without heavy wear...just a minimum so VG+ ...very strict grade.
vinyl: The vinyl does not have marks some smalls stains probably because the inner sleeve but it play absolutelly well over them and he plays absolutelly well all over the places ...just some very very very short and light crackles in the quieter 2end track of side one... hence I grade it a strict VG++.
review:  This is a trio but incredibly not a "power trio" as so often happen in the period after the Cream musical projet...Colin Hodgkinson plays a Fender Bass, Ron Aspery Plays an Alto or Soprano Sax plus a Flute, Tony Hicks it's the Drummer....can you imagine how can be structured the music they plays? The first thing that well worth to mention it's the high level of the musicians ... how could be different! The sound it's a mix of rock and jazz and blues where the Sax it's everywhere and the bass it's a superb protagonist as I can remember before....drummer it's the classic Jazz styled refined ones...change of rythms and melody for an intelligent debut...very rare and micropressed just distributed during his not so frequents gigs and then repressed by Warner Bros when they get a contract...rare and great much more than you imagine ... so Don't miss!
