Absolutely classic jazz album in original release. With Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, Charles Mingus and Bud Powell. I have listened to this all the way through without any skips or repeats. Music is very listenable and to be honest this recording always had mediocre sound quality at best Cover has some fading and discoloration, please see the photo .This comes from my father's collection that he bought new when released. He played them a lot and the records have a lot of wear with scratches. The reissues sound much better but if you want to buy some history this is it.
Grading Scale
NM - near perfect, played rarely if ever.
VG++ - almost like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG++.
VG+ - vinyl may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that don't affect the sound.
VG - surface noise will be noticeable,but will not overpower the music.

Good does not mean bad! The record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along. But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage caused by someone trying to remove tape or stickers and failing miserably. A Good to VG– cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing, such as, for example, huge radio station letters written across the front to deter theft.
