This is an original issue copy hand given to my husband at the CES show. It is not a cheap re-issue like the ones being sold as new on Amazon. I am helping my husband (unityaudiobob) (1200+) sell off some of his records. Either we sell some or he has to buy me a bigger house. For years he owned Unity Audio and now owns Cerious Technologies. Unity showed at 24 straight CES shows and it was routine for record companies to give him records for demo material. They were all 1st editions. He has 6000+ albums and many he has never listened to. For sale today is a Mint record, Never Played copy of Jazz at the Pawnshop. Given to the Husband by Audiosource at CES for Demo I would guess a very low # 1st pressing. He got 4 copies of this. This copy he opened, inspected, cleaned with his Keith Monks (to get off the silicone mold release residue - whatever that means), and replaced the stock inner sleeves with his archival choice of MFSL sleeves and put it in storage. Why is the cover less than Mint? With double albums you have "deeper" thicknesses where the records fit in the jacket and create greater stress on the cover causing - over time - an outline of where the records are to form. Nothing you can do it just happens with double album sets. The hubby is also VERY picky and rates things REALLY strict. Perfect records. Never even saw the Etna Cartridge...Have heard one of his other copies and it is everything they say - Spectacular! If played then on what? Micro Seiki 1500 FVG turntable, Fidelity Research arm and Lyra Etna cartridge. Yah...not going to hurt the record. He also has a Keith Monks cleaning machine that he HAS TO CLEAN EVERY TIME HE PLAYS something! My pain is your pleasure. Keeps everything perfect. Google it to find out more about the album. I am not being lazy asking you to Google it rather than trying to list everything about it. Googling it will bring up so much information and often even samples of the music so you can get a good idea of what it is like.
