JAZZLAND JLP51:  DON RENDELL NEW JAZZ QUINTET  'Roarin'

UK jazz rarity from 1961, this was the start of this English tenor sax player being at the cutting edge of the UK scene. The group was completed by Graham Bond (as), John Burch (p), Tony Archer (b) and Phil Kinorra (d). This is an UK 1st Interdisc mono pressing with black/silver printing and logo label in a flipback sleeve.

Side 1 'Bring Back The Burch'/'Manumission'/'Blue Monk'

Side 2 'Jeannine'/'You Loomed Out ofr Loch Ness'/'So What'/'The Haunt'

CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is E (VG+) with a some light to very light scratches/scuffs and some light general groove wear, visible under a bright 'grading' light. These have little affect on the playing. There is some surface dirt. This disc should be cleaned. The cover is also E (VG+), with minor corner/edge damage/surface creasing and some surface rubbing/scratching. On the back, the predominantly white design of the cover has become discoloured with small stains and surface dirt.
