Original pressing from the early 1950s
Jean Bosco Mwenda was a pioneer of Congolese fingerstyle acoustic guitar music. He was also popular in other African countries, particularly in East Africa, and in the late 1950s and early 1960s was briefly based in Nairobi, where he had a regular radio show and became a profound influence on a generation of Kenyan guitarists.
Record is in VG to VG+ condition. Storage stains on both sides.
Has a 1" very faint hairline crack in the beginning which you have to look very closely under a bright light to see. It's not felt and not heard. It's shown close up at 6:00 position both sides.
The label has center damage, so you have to give it a little tap when it's spinning to perfectly center it as I did.
The labels have a small tear.
