Description
This is the Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Anadisq 200 limited edition reissue from 1994, remastered from the original master tapes and pressed on 200g vinyl.

This copy is limited edition number 3452.
I've owned this record from new (bought it about 13 years ago) and have played it perhaps 4 or 5 times in its entire life. Play testing part of the record for this listing is the first time it has been played in the last 12 years.
Grade (sleeve first) using the Record Collector grading scheme, reproduced below: EX+/EX-.
The sleeve looks almost like new, there is just one minor mark on the top edge where the coloured surface has come away to reveal the white card beneath. The inner card sleeve that wraps the rice paper inner also looks like new. Please view the photos and judge for yourself.
The record itself has some faint silvery marks throughout the first half of side 2. They look like a series (5 or 6) of streaks about 1mm wide and 10mm long. They are not scratches or any other kind of physical damage and have not been caused by careless handling. I've seen similar marks on some of my other records, none of which have been played in years and I wonder if they have arisen from prolonged contact with the inner sleeve (the record has been stored from new in the original MFSL inner sleeve) during storage. I have play tested the section with the marks and, apart from some light crackling during the lead-in groove, I didn't hear any surface noise at all so whatever these marks are, they are inaudible during playback, at least on my record player (Rega P3/RB300/Elys). The rest of the record looks clean, no other marks that I can see.

Record Collector grading scheme:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
