Jean Michel Jarre - "We Need Oxygene" Oxygene (PT IV) - ultra rare blue South African promo only 7" single

Polydor, 1977. Oxygene (PT IV) is featured on both side of the single. Time 3.35 minutes.

Item sold as pictured and as described below.

Please note: it has been brought to my attention that this item is NOT complete, since it is missing the 4 light blue

promotional stickers for the sleeve!

Grading is conservative.

Visually, the 7" is in Poor condition. When it is examined under bright light, one can see that it is heavily

scratched and scuffed. I have attempted to show this in the photographs included with the listing. 

Fortunately, though, the single plays better than its worn appearance would suggest.

1. There is a fairly brief period of noticeable surface noise at the start and end of both sides of the single.

2. Intermittent 'clicks' are audible on occasion on both sides -- and on one side in particular.

3. However, despite obvious wear, the music is generally still to the forefront through most of the track 

and, significantly, the single still plays right through on both sides without 'sticks',  'skips' or 'jumps'.

Overall, this 7" single is still listenable and enjoyable but, because of its flaws, I would grade as G+ only.

Although it is not "trashed" and is still fully playable, it is only one step away from being a "placeholder"

or "filler" copy.

Although the condition is not optimal and is not recommended for fussy collectors, this South African Jean

Michel Jarre promo 7" seldom turns up for sale. 

The sleeve is in Poor condition with pronounced creasing, markings, tears, including tiny tears to the rear

of the sleeve (please see photos).
