The product is a 1953 2nd press vinyl LP by Jean Ritchie titled "Jean Ritchie Singing Traditional Songs" released under the Elektra record label. The album features folk music sung by Jean Ritchie 10" She is called the mother of folk. Historical fact she was Elektra very 1st full folk lp they had produced and made. Key note the little white mimi lyrics booklet is usually missing when one is lucky enough to have found a copy of this lp. 2nd press is often more sought after than the original 1952 1st press. 2nd press 1953 has more value due to sound quality and making of the wax vinyl. this is a library withdraw. I did play test the record doesn't skip. thesre is some crackling here and there but however I consider it appropriate due to its age. So overall it sounded great very beautiful music. I am letting it go for im downsizing my collection check out some of my other rare lps from all genres will be posting more throughout the week. all test played and cared for.
