For sale, from my personal collection, is - Jean-Luc Ponty - Cosmic Messenger. This record is a Direct-Disk Test Pressing. Identifiable only thru the dead wax info. I bought this LP from the Sheffield distributor at his moving sale (lived in our neighborhood). The flawless looking record was played once by me (high end-ish gear), has great sheen and no spindle wear, is flat as can be and, has been stored vertically on our record shelves in the listening room. The typical "no info" test pressing jacket is clean with only two tiny spots (hard to see in pictures) on the front and one on the back that I'll leave up to the new owner to try to remove. They're very minor and the reason for its VG+ grade. I'm grading the vinyl as VG+ due to age and the fact it's been open for the two+ decades I've owned it. But you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer opened example of this record.
Shipping via media mail with tracking in a recycled LP mailer with a little extra padding. Selling and Shipping to Lower US only. Please, no exceptions.
There's very little pricing history on this record. The most recent Discogs sale (a VG+) was for $34.99+shipping. I'm going to start the bidding at $25 and see where this goes. Happy bidding!
