An original 1973 US 15-track LP pressed on Translucent Purple which is clearly visible when held to the light. This is a good way to distinguish genuine copies! This is Jarre’s first album under his own name and issued by Sam Fox Music a good four years before his breakthrough album Oxygène. This is a music library disc and never released commercially The material was intended to be used for film & television )I remember some adverts that used the music) and has never been re-released. The sleeve here is hand made on a blank cardboard sleeve for easier finding in the TV library section I worked for Sam Fox Music in London in the 70s so hopefully, know what I talking about! Sam Fox was an old-style basic music publisher but had a music library section - when I worked for them here in the UK they had just over 30 LP records of library music from ages before. Jarre was a new addition. There was no CD issued by us (the ones I have seen are simply copies) There was NO picture sleeve issued by us as this was simply a library disc and very old school. Vinyl copies with coloured picture sleeves are also very suspect - I doubt the records in those sleeves are genuine (check if they show up purple in the light) There was a generic Sam Fox Music Library used for all discs with a printed tracklist generally affixed to the back of the sleeve but quite a number were sent out without a sleeve
