Jeff Buckley Grace 2010 Reissue 180 Gram EX/EX.
For auction is an excellent listeners copy of Grace by Jeff Buckley. The only studio album by the singer, songwriter and guitarist released in August 1994. On May 29, 1997, he accidentally drowned while taking an evening swim in a channel off the Mississippi River. At the the time he was working on his second album, My Sweatheart the Drunk. Grace initially did not sell well but was eventually certified platinum in the US and has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. Critically it had mixed reviews but the positive ones gave it massive praise. Over time, in the past two decades, the album has drastically become a classic and is now considered one of the best ever. Grace is often on best of lists and mentioned as a favorite album by many prominent musicians. In 2020 it was ranked #147 on Rolling Stone’s list of “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. The record features the title track as well as the songs, “Last Goodbye”, “So Real” and the now classic cover of Leonard Cohen’s, “Hallelujah”. This copy is a 2010 reissue pressed on 180 gram black vinyl.
Vinyl is play graded EX. No visible surface marks. Very shiny! Plays with no background noise, skips or jumps. Flawless but not sealed (Mint) and I was not original owner (NM) and do not known the extent of its play history. Sounds amazing! Please see pics.
Cover is also in EX condition. No signs of shelf wear but no longer in shrink. Looks brand new! Insert included. Please see pics.
