Description

Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk, is a collection of polished studio tracks and four-track demos recorded by Jeff Buckley. Being unsatisfied with material recorded in the summer of 1996 and early in 1997, Buckley worked on many demos to reach the sound he was hoping to achieve. To be titled My Sweetheart, the Drunk, the album was never finished, as the rest of the band were traveling to meet Buckley at the time of his death. It was released posthumously on 26 May 1998. Despite its unfinished state, the album garnered many positive reviews; The Onion's AV Club called it "frustratingly incomplete, but mostly remarkable". The album was produced by Tom Verlaine.

This triple LP is rare as hens teeth and the vinyl is in near mint condition, the cover is Excellent with minor creasing in the top left corner and slight storage marks in the bottom right - nothing serious at all - and all inserts are included.

This is a must for any Buckley fan and it's almost never seen (There are no other copies on ebay at the start of listing, nor through other established vendors of rare records - gemm, eil or musicstack)

I bought the record while on a pilgrimage to Seattle about 6 years ago and this really is an rock and roll artifact.
