Jeff Dale 7": Don't Forget About Me Baby / Language Of Love - 1964 - Atco Records
Comments: This record was cleaned, then fully play tested. In the interest of full disclosure, I have to describe how the play-test was conducted. The record was tested on my workhorse play-test turntable with unknown tracking weight and it played with no skips or repeats. I then played it on a different turntable with unknown tracking pressure that is more suitable for recording video sound samples. On that turntable, there was a repeater about 10 seconds in on the A-Side. That turntable has been having problems playing some records though, so although it was cause for concern, it wasn't cause for alarm. I then tried the record out on my best turntable with 1.5 grams tracking pressure and a new stylus and it again played fine with no skips or repeats. The sound sample video in the photos section is from that 3rd test on my best turntable. I only mention all of this so you'll know that the record played fine on two turntables, but failed on a turntable that may be having some tracking issues.
Record Condition (for the eyes): I gave the record a G+ grade. There is actually some glossiness shining through, but the playing surfaces are almost completely covered in surface scuffs and light scratches. This record probably spent much of its life un-sleeved. On a more positive note, there does not seem to be excessive groove wear - visually or aurally.
Record Condition (for the ears): Both sides play with excellent sound quality in the music (aside from surface noise) and the songs are easily enjoyed. General background record surface noise is heard as a moderate level crackle - sometimes approaching heavy crackle. There were no skips or sticks of course on either side of the record in my definitive play-test (see notes in comments section above). You can check out the sound in the video provided in the photos section. Crank up the volume for maximum enjoyment!
Record Labels Condition: The labels show moderate wear, but look pretty good. There is no writing on the labels. The label text is readable and the graphics look good.
Sleeve Type: Radio Shack's "Realistic Record Protector" paper sleeve.
Sleeve Condition: The sleeve is in VG+ condition with just a little wear There are no seam splits.
Shipping Notes: This will be protected with proper packing materials when shipped, so don't worry about a thing!

When multiple items are shipped together, I can almost always give you a better deal on the shipping cost compared to the individual shipping costs. I promise to give you the best rate possible based on the items purchased and the shipping method required.
