Description

In 1978, I scored the music for a promotional film for the Rochester Institute of Technology. My challenge was to create nine  “tone poems” as an emotional connection to each department within the school. Side One's 5 tracks were recorded with faculty musicians from the Eastman School of Music. Side Two's 4 tracks were recorded as the earliest example of "One-Man-Band" production techniques by this composer. The music was so well received that it soon was made available as a promotional LP that was distributed by RIT to prospective students in the Arts. That was the last I heard about the project until 30 years later, when the “last copies” of the LP were sold on the Internet by rare LP collectors for more money than I remember being paid in 1978 to produce the entire project! Since then, the few LP's still in circulation have been bought and sold worldwide, leading me to release a digitally remastered “Collector Limited Edition” CD. As a special bonus, the successful bidder will also receive the CD at no additional charge! For those of you interested in the music but not the actual LP, feel free to visit Jeff Resnick's web site and blog for more information. NOTE: this LP is the only signed copy currently available, adding to its value.
