Jeff Wayne’s War Of The Worlds - Owned from New
Please see photos for condition of sleeve and booklet.Both records have only ever been played a very few times.
On viewing the records under bright light I can see some very light hairline removal marks. They are deep black, shiny, and with deep grooves.
The records haven’t been played/removed from their white paper sleeves for many years and have built up a lot of static. I have therefore cleaned them with ‘Groove Guard’ record cleaning fluid. I have found that sometimes the first few plays after cleaning can result in a white coloured 'fluff' presenting on the stylus. It's very easily blown from the stylus.I have played the records through a couple of times and they are clean of 'fluff'. There is very very little and very light (of short duration) background crackle and I only detected a couple of very light pops.
The LPs have been kept in a clear plastic record sleeve since the day I bought it. Both the gatefold sleeve and the booklet still have that new feel and print aroma to them. The plain white record sleeves are as white as they were the day I bought the record. There is no writing/tears/splits/etc. to either sleeve.
