Description

Limited Edition Box Set of the classic 1978 double album featuring contributions from David Essex, Justin Haywood, Phil Lynott and of course, the iconic narration by Richard Burton. The discs come in the original gatefold sleeve with the 16-page illustrated booklet containing lyrics, artwork and short biographies of all contributors.

Also included is the original limited 12" vinyl single which features The Eve Of The War and Horsell Common And The Heat Ray.

Also a huge 24" x 36" fold out poster featuring the artwork representing the Martian attack on The Thunderchild ship.

Also inside the box is the classic paperback novel by HG Wells with matching album artwork.

This is a really great collection of items in this Limited Edition box. The outer box has minimal edge wear from standing on a shelf for forty years. The album sleeve has no signs of wear at all and the booklet also remains immaculate. The vinyl remains near as new with no surface marks to indicate any play. The book also is excellent with no spine increasing visible.

The set has been treasured and cared for in a smoke free environment.
