Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

 

 

This is an auction for:  Jeff Wayne – War of the Worlds (The New Generation) – RARE Double Vinyl LP album from 2012.


 Double Vinyl. Includes the booklet and poster.
Owned by myself from new and only played once.


No buy it now’s or offers accepted thank you. Auction only. I will not be responding to any requests to lower the price.

 

Vinyl Condition: VG/EX (Some light sleeve rubs and light sleeve scuffs from the paper inner sleeves but nice condition. There is a slight bobbing of the stylus on record 2 indicating a slight manufacturing warp. This does not affect the playback and is how it was when I unsealed it from new. Other copies may well be the same. Nice playback and sound and no sticks or jumps).

 

Inner Sleeve Condition: EX

 


Outer Sleeve Condition: EX (Lovely condition. A few minor edge creases that were there from new but lovely overall condition).

 

I grade my records as follows:

 

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
