Description

This auction is for a vintage 1978 Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of the Worlds 2 LP set in close to perfect condition.  Phonodisc pressing.


THE RECORD: EXCELLENT.  Records are in great shape. A couple of small, superficial hairlines. I've cleaned the record and it still has the original factory glossy look.


THE COVER: NEAR MINT. The gatefold cover is in near perfect condition. There is the slightest wear on the front and back from the record.  There is also a tiny bit of wear on the edges and corners.  The record ships in a plastic sleeve.


INNER SLEEVE: NEAR MINT. The inner sleeves are really well preserved and has no splits on the sides. A little yellowed with age.


MISC: Beautifully illustrated color booklet is included and is in perfect conidition.

Due to the high volume of records that I sell it's not realistic for me to play test each one.  All records are visually inspected and cleaned. We will however spot check records if there is an obvious scratch or mark to make sure that the vinyl is functional.  I strive to make sure that my grading is as accurate as possible.


LPs are shipped via media mail and will arrive within 2-8 days depending on your location.  I ship each record in a sturdy cardboard record mailer with cardboard inserted for reinforcement and the record will be placed in a plastic sleeve for protection which is covered by the $1.25 handling charge to cover materials. 


For combined shipping just pay the total invoice for all of the records and I'll refund back the shipping after it mails minus handling. I can ship up to 4 LPs per mailer so shipping would be $.25 additional handling each for up to 3 more regular sized LPs.
