Description

This is a 78 rpm RCA Victor test pressing of "Bill Goat Stomp" by Jell-Roll Morton's Red Hot Peppers. It was recorded in Chicago on June 4, 1927 and includes band members George Mitchell on cornet - Gerald Reeves on trombone - Johhny Dodds on clarinet - Stump Evans on alto sax - Bud Scott on guitar - Quinn Wilson on bass - Baby Dodds on drums - Lew LeMar on effects - and of course Jelly Roll Morton on piano. This is one of Jelly Roll Morton's most famous songs and is a one of a kind. The record is in MINT condition with no visible scratches or markings that are usually found on records this old.
