Description
Here is an original copy of Famous Blue Raincoat by Jennifer Warnes on a USA Cypress 661-111-1 vinyl LP pressing. The jacket is a definite near mint minus and the minus is only for a notch on the bottom right edge on the opening side. There is NO ring wear, splits, holes, dings, dents rips or tears. The original custom inner sleeve in included with NO splits and I’ve stored the LP in a separate plain inner sleeve to preserve the original which also has the songs lyrics on it. The LP is a beautiful unplayed looking pristine near mint with NO spindle marks and spotless vinyl surfaces, looks like it was just unwrapped. This is a rare original pressing from 1986. This is Warnes doing the songs of Leonard Cohen. Features the stunning title track plus First We Take Manhattan and the chilling Joan Of Arc featuring a guest vocal with the author. This song manages to actually give me goose bumps every time I hear it. The narrative of the fire (Cohen) is chilling enough but Warnes delivery of the haunting descriptive lyrics are unparalleled. Rare NM original copy!!
