Description
From my personal collection, I am not a dealer. I shared a flat in Beaufort Mansions, Chelsea, London, Uk in the winter of 1972. My flatmates, well some of them, were Simon King (at that time the drummer with Hawkwind- he the hound master). Simon lived with his German shepherd Peggy in the living room. I took Lemmy's room (later of Motorhead fame)- he moved downstairs with Brock of Hawkwind. Then there was Roger, who sold things of pleasure to many of the well know rock bands- the Who, Traffic, etc. His father worked for A&M records, or so I was told. One day he came home with a box of these white label, white cover albums. He said take a few. I took 2. Turned out they were the same. I wonder if the whole box were the same. That is how I came to own this lp that I am now selling. I have not owned a turntable since 2012, so it and my other lp's are of no use to me anymore. Honestly I only learned who was on this album a few months ago thanks to someone I sold an album to recently. I sent him the other copy - he knew right away who it was/is. A 52 year old mystery answered.
