The Ice Man Cometh
Jerry Butler has had many important seminal musical moments – the making of the “Ice Man Cometh” Lp is one of them. Recorded in Philly and produced by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff (the ‘Ice Man’s’ first effort with them); Big Hits on the album include “Only The Strong Survive,” “Hey Western Union Man,” “Never Give You Up,” and eight others. A 1968 Mercury Records release.

Cover: VG+ to EXC, paper on lower left section of front cover is missing (please see photos), small section on bottom of back cover is missing, a few edges of cover have been expertly repaired, spine lettering is all there. Otherwise, no separations, cutout holes, or writing thereon. Color photo insert has ancient stain (VG+) on low right edge; photo, itself, is EXC. Please see photos.
Disc: EXC to NM, a few faint paper scuffs on vinyl; early pressing M2/M2 stampers. Stereo. Original Owner.
