Description



     From 1958 a 45rpm two sided rocker by Jerry Hawkins (brother of Dale Hawkins) on the Ebb label "Swing Daddy Swing" b/w "I Got a Heart" and a host of Louisiana musicians helping out: Roy Buchanan and James Burton on guitar, Rose and Maggie Lewis on back-up vocals, Joe Osborn.  Tillman Franks had the publishing on Magic Circle, writers included Stan Lewis,(Stan's Record Shop) Merle Kilgore, local DJ and songwriter, Dick Martin who managed and played in several bands on the Bossier City Strip, and later founded Murco Records.  Both sides were recorded on late night - early morning session at the KWKH studios in shreveport Louisiana following a Louisiana Hayride show.
     Promo copy. Good gloss on vinyl.  Labels have some wear and some browning from age.(see scan)  Some light marks, and some scuffs on the outer edges, probably from record sleeve.   Record plays nice on both sides, with exception of one light spot of surface noise.
