Description

Here is an absolutely beautiful copy of the first Sun LP by Jerry Lee Lewis: Sun LP1230 from 1958. The laminated cover still has all its shine, and the lamination covers all the edges. The corners are square and unbumped, with just a tiny bit of wear to the top right and lower right corners. Very mild sunning along the right hand edge--visible only in the red sections. Sun logo at bottom right has the 706 Union Ave. address. The back cover, which is not laminated, shows light rubbing, and there is a small abraded area at top left. Notes on back cover are by Sam Phillips and dated May, 1958. The record has all its shine and there is no ringwear to the labels. Sounds fantastic. The songs are : Don't Be Cruel, Goodnight Irene, Put Me Down, It All Depends, Ugangi Stomp, Crazy Arms, Jambalaya, Fools Like Me, High School Confidential, When the Saints Go Marching In, Matchbox and It'll Be Me. It'll be hard to find a better copy of this record.
