Jerry Lee Lewis - 1st LP

(London HA-S 2138 UK LP 1959)

 

This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. 

The record has plum London labels which are grooved also. It has 1st press -2B/ -1B matrix stampers. Both the sleeve & label have the "Sun" credit on them. A genuine UK 1st pressing.

 

Sleeve: There is a 3" seam split at the bottom opening. There is ringwear & a couple of small 1 cm tears. Fading/ staining to the rear also. Good condition.

Vinyl: There are a fair amount of sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and some light marks. Good condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild to moderate spindle wear. Plays very well overall. There are a few intermittent bits of loud crackle on the first track. It lasts for about 30 seconds. Otherwise just light, or mild, crackle in the quietest places. 

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
