Description

An original 1st press of WLSGO on the UK London label from 1965. Matrix 1K/1K. Stampers 1I/1K - great provenance... a really early copy. Note the Decca deep groove is still exhibiting as you would expect from a 1965 1st. The vinyl comes housed in an original Mono with pinched spine. We also have an original inner sleeve from the time. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great shape and has only seen reasonably light use. Under close inspection I could make out a few light marks and one superficial trail. One mark in [16] is semi-feelable and does just about sound [detail below] . A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quite and the audio comes across with great clarity. If you like a dose of original 50's R&R you could do a lot worse than start here. Jerry delivered the goods time and again - and with a good dollop of cheek for good measure! Plays great - just what you need for early R&R. Expect a touch of light background in a couple of tracks per side. Nothing noticeable - most folks will not be fussed. The mark in [16] causes about 4-5 ticks in the section. Thankfully this is a heavy pressing - and the effects are not that noticeable. It plays great. If you can't get off on this record - there's something wrong with ya! 
Cover (Ex-) In great condition with a nice shiny front exhibiting nothing more than a couple of thumbnail creases and a touch of ageing at extremities. The rear has avoided the worst of the ageing process - just a bit creeping in the odd spot. A name written in the top sector. Just slight edge wear with nice firm openings. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) A bit aged. Bag present. No edge splits.
