Description
Up for auction is a very nice vinyl record album by JERRY PORTER, titled WAILING HARMONICA AND GUITAR or DON'T BOTHER ME LP Mid to late 60's US Pressing on MIRROR Records SWB-122 (same label as the Chesterfield Kings, a dozen years earlier ?) VG+ VINYL RECORD ALBUM (has scuffs, some surface noise) VG OUTER COVER JACKET (shelf / seam wear, ink marks)
Total outsider N/Y area singer / songwriter with acoustic guitar sounds like a rougher edged Bob Dylan, who sings for the hobos 'the most powerful white urban singer that has ever been recorded' includes the classic unknown anti-drug anthem 'LSD Fixation' Reportedly this was the earliest release produced and issued by the legendary artist, Armand Schaubrueck, 'Steals' fame
Visually vinyl record has some light scuff marks and hairlines has bright, sheen and hi-gloss. Plays loud, clear, crisp with some background surface noise in spots. Not near new but decent VG+
Outer cover jacket is in similar condition as vinyl record due to some shelf wear along seams, some splitting or cracks along top seam edge, a blacked out name near top edge on front cover, slight visual ring wear or record to record wear to bright whiteness, a yellowish spot on back cover
