Jeru the Damaja: The Sun Rises in the East LP, Vinyl, Payday Records, 1994
The Sun Rises in the East is the debut album by American hip hop rapper Jeru the Damaja, released May 24th, 1994 on Payday Records. Production on the album was handled by DJ Premier. 
With The Sun Rises, Jeru gives a performance that is steeped in both street-wise, rugged rhymes and a healthy dose of righteous aggression. His rhymes are laden with references to Kung-Fu flicks like Man With The Bronze Arm and anime like Fist Of The North Star. His delivery is unconventional, with its constant shifts in tempo, riding Premier’s beats in an unorthodox manner.
This is the original UK pressing from 1994, in it's original polythene cover with release sticker from when it was brought back in Rounder Records.

This record has been kept in storage in a smoke free household. It is from a large record  collection, not a DJ collection, this record has never been DJed and is in good condition.  There is a just little crackle between "Come Clean" and "Jungle Music" on side 4. 
The record sleeve shows some light foxing from being in storage.
